Images are often incorporated into Trajectory IQ projects. They add to a project's story progression and make the experience more personalized to your organization.
There are different ways of finding and sourcing images for your project. You can search for stock photography online or you can hire a photographer to take images specifically for your organization.
*We are prohibited from using artwork pulled from the internet without proper permission from the photographer or artist.
If you have limited budget or time to source images, stock photography may be a good fit.
There are stock photography sites that offer high quality images for free.
Some of our favourites include:
In addition to free sites, there are also stock photography sites where you can sign up for an account and have access to their image collections.
Many of these sites have the added benefit of saving images to a lightbox prior to downloading. This is great if your organization requires approval prior to purchasing images.
Some popular stock sites include:
Things to note:
- Make sure to double check the licensing restrictions of an image before purchasing to make sure it can be used the way you intend to.
- When you purchase an image, you can often download it at various resolutions and sizes. Reference our article, What image sizes do we need to provide? to make sure your image will fit within our spec requirements.
- Anyone can purchase the same image as you and use it as they see fit.
If a project’s timeline permits, and the proper budget is allocated, custom photography is the preferred option. Custom photography will ensure that you have images that are unique to your project and organization.
We will work with you to determine what style of photography would work best for your project and we'll create a shot list to ensure the photographer captures everything we need for your project.
Typically a photographer will work with you to determine the appropriate time, location, and logistics (props, lighting, models) for a photoshoot.
*Depending on the parameters of a project, a Trajectory IQ team member may be available to work alongside you and the photographer on location.
